My experience was, you just let the proctor know you're leaving the lab for
a break and our proctor respected the fact that some people smoke and some
need to take more regular toilet breaks under stress, people take a coffee
break
whenever they need to etc. . I don't know if it's like that everywhere but
in Australia it is

What's the policy with smoking and the lab? I mean, I know smoking is
"politically incorrect" anymore, but the fact is, some people smoke, and
what's the policy on taking a 5 minute break every hour or hour and a
half to smoke? I mean, I wouldn't mind being escorted so they could see
I'm not cheating.... What's the scoop?
