Hello,

Please take a look at Chap 5 : Jeff Doyle .. Configuration Exercise no 5 .Its
page no 223 in the Indian edition.

Part 1 : Routing updates from RTA to RTB

In this case ,RTB will interpret the subnets 192.168.20.128/27 as 192.168.20.128/29 right ?And 192.168.20.65/27 as 192.168.20.64/29 .Do you see any issues with this
incorrect masks when it comes to routing the traffic to 192.168.20.129 and 192.168.20.65 ?

Part 2 :Routing updates from RTB to RTA

I thought that when the subnet update 192.168.20.49/29 impinges upon RTA's interface ,a 192.168.20.49/32 will be created. This doesnt seem to be the case. Can someone explain this ?

Kris
