always-compare-med is for comparing MEDS injected into your AS from multiple
AS's (ebgp).. Whereas "bgp deterministic-med" is for calculating preference
based on med for routes coming in from two different peers in the SAME as
(ebgp).
Cheers...

Subject: BGP Med Command
Hi all,
Whether we need to enable "bgp always-compare-med" if "bgp
deterministic-med" is existing?
What's the difference between this two command?
Thanks for any help
