its b'coz the trunk has not come up yet ......

are both the switches configured the same way??

if u dont have two switches....then just for testing purpose u can try an do
the trunk on the same switch.....remember its just to bring up the
trunk......try trunking between fa0/10 - 0/11 and fa0/20 - 0/21 for eg.

then give this command to check...."sh int port-channel # trunk"

REMEMBER THIS IS JUST FOR TESTING AND TO GET THE TRUNK "UP"!!
