Do you know what IP TTL the packets arriving at your router had?, if this
was either 1 or lower or lower than any threshold you have configured using
ip multicast ttl-threshold x command then this behaviour will be seen.

The part of htis throwing me off is the
dispose ip.hopcount
error....Can't find jack about this on Cisco...Google bring s up a vague
reference but no solution...anybody seen this ??.....Bob
