The 3550 does not currently support NAT (I found this when I tried to
configure it but this is also stated in the following

Does anyone who may have investigated this limitation in the past know if
Cisco have any plans to provide NAT as a feature (perhaps when 12.2 for the
3550 is released?) or if hardware limitations on the 3550 render NAT
impossible.
