You cannot boot a 2500 from tftp server with a image of 16MB, the 2500's run IOS from flash. If you load the 16MB to RAM it will have no memory left for the processes and will abort the boot.

I think I made before but now it is not working , I have flash with 8 MB memory and I want to run IOS needs 16 MB flash , therefore I tried to boot from a TFTP server having this new IOS .
I'm using cisco2501 , I tried to boot from tftp server by configuring it from ROMMON mode by CLI command which is B [file name] [tftp server ip address] , am I right or it is possible to boot from tftp server an IOS which need more flash than I have?
Please advice
