Hi,
I just installed another serial module in my 4000 series, and with IOS 12.2
I get 2 various "methods" on my serial interfaces.
Is there a way to change the methods from TFTP or Unset to NVRAM? I believe
the method of TFTP is the cause of the annoying intermittent Error Boot TFTP
<ipaddress> messages. "no service config" only works per uptime, and back to
normal after a reload.
Interface IP-Address OK? Method Status

Ethernet0 170.1.1.254 YES NVRAM administratively down

Ethernet1 192.168.1.3 YES NVRAM administratively down

Serial3 unassigned YES TFTP up

Serial4 unassigned YES unset up

Serial6 unassigned YES unset down

Thanks,
Richard Danu
