IRB in catalyst 3550

Hi group.

I work in IRB implementation in catalyst 3550 and this is my result. can
someone please confirm this.

- the IRB( routing and bridging ) betwen two svi work without any BVI
configuration.
- also the IRB( routing and bridging ) betwen an SVI and routed port work
without any BVI configuration.
- But when I configured BVI to route and bridge betwen two routed port ( one
without ip address and both with bridge-group ) it did'nt work. on station
connected to the port that don't have ip address I can't ping the switch
bvi interface nor the other interfaces of the switch. however the netbios
still bridged betwen the to station.
I think there is a bug in the catalyst or irb is not supported at all???
