Well, somewhat by definition, you can't use EBGP-multihop for an iBGP
connection.
IBGP routers don't have a "have to be directly connected" requirement. They
may not be, and in a large network probably are not, directly connected. So
in defining the BGP neighbor relationship, router A has to use an IP address
of router C, so it knows where to send the IP packets for the TCP
connection. Any accessible IP address on router C can be used, however it is
best to use a Loopback interface because they never go down (unless the
entire router is down).
