Robert,

try this.....delete VLAN.dat on the 3550 and reboot.Not sure if the 2950
also has a VLAN.dat....if it does delete that too....

erasing the config is not enuff for the 3550...some vtp and vlan info is
also stored in the VLAN.dat.....gotta delete that too...

lemme know if it worked......
