Dude,

        You're getting your technologies mixed up. A trunk is a connection between
2 devices where multiple VLANs are supported, using a VLAN tagging
technology like ISL or 802.1Q. Link aggregation or channeling allows you to
increase bandwidth between two devices. You can do one or the other, or
both, or neither, depending on the hardware. But it sounds like your trying
to create an etherchannel. In that case, I don't think you can with a 3600.
The minimum platform for etherchannel is 7200. Not sure about the newer
3700 or 7100 platforms though.

i have done layer 3 trunk between (FEC) between two 3500 switches

is it possible to create a trunk using two fastethernet interface between
3660 router and 5509 switch. idea is to use two f0 interface in the 3660.
