Yes. This is a well-known and oft-recounted situation.

Rather than trying to memorize defaults, just use "show ip ospf
interface" to see what the OSPF interface type is. But just because all
interfaces are NBMA doesn't mean your OSPF configuring is done.

When the OSPF interface network type is NBMA adjacencies will form but
you need a bit more configuration to get everything working. Use either
the "neighbor" statement or "ip ospf network point-to-multipoint" on the
interfaces.
