Don't waste your brainpower on this issue (which comes up again and
again and again on groupstudy).

Focus on the IOS!!

When you are ready to pass the lab you will be able to pass it using an
original DEC VT100 terminal. <g>
On my last attempt I forgot about the terminal emulator about 2 minutes
into the lab.
