the way i do it is as follows
to see the routes sent to a specific peer ( say 1.1.1.1)
show ip bgp nei 1.1.1.1 advertised-routes
to see routes received from a specific peer
show ip bgp nei 1.1.1.1 recieived
( need in bound soft reconfig for this )
