Assume 3550-1 fe 0/23 and fe 0/24 connects to same on 3550-2 then i can
think of at least 2 ways to do this
1) configure the physicals 1st for trunking and then assign to channel ;
2) assign phys to channel and the config channel for trunking;
method1.
for cat 1 and 2 do as follows
interface range faste 0/23 - 24
switchport trunk encaps isl
switchport mode trunk
flowcontrol receive off
channel-gro 2 mode desir
method 2
interface range fasteth 0/23 - 24
flowcontrol rec off
channel-gr 2 mode desi
interface Port-channel2
switchport trunk encapsulation isl
switchport mode trunk
