Subject: subnet Mask format change.
Hello,
Is it possible on an interface instead of putting in mask in dotted decimal
notation ie 255.255.255.0 or whatever to put in in as a / format
to be able to do the following,
int fa0/0
ip address 192.168.1.1 /24
as opposed to
int fa0/0
ip address 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
I thought there may be some so called "knob" available to tweak the default
settings.
Can this be done...??? I cant find anything on the cisco web site regarding
this.
Kind regards.
