Rich,

If you're tagging in OSPF, "show ip ospf database".

If you're tagging in EIGRP, "show ip eigrp topology".

Tagging in RIPv2 is unreliable; don't recommend.

An easy way to test is to create a loopback, then use a route-map to tag,
then redistribute connected into the routing process.
