Fair enough.
There is no "correct" answer. In many cases you may be told what not to
do, leaving you to use your technique of choice. For example, the ip
ospf network point-to-multipoint command has a side effect of making the
hub router advertise /32 routes to the spoke routers. You may be told
that those host routes are unacceptable, or you may be told that you
cannot use the ip ospf network command.
If you are not told what not to do, then my advice is, use whichever
configuration teqhnique you're most comfortable with.
Hopefully that will translate into decent advice =)
