I am thinking of buying FXS slots for 2 2600s that I have but have a few
questions:
This is the mod I see on Ebay:
Cisco VIC-2FXS Two Port FXS For 2600/3600
This is on the Cisco web site:
NM-2V1 2-slot voice/fax network module (with footnote 1
which states: 1 The voice/fax and ATM NMs require a Cisco IOS Plus
feature set.)
Question:
1. Can I use this module with a standard IP Plus feature set or does it
have to be enterprise plus? I ask this because I also have an ATM card
that I tried to get working, but it required the ent. plus.
2. Can I install this card in Slot0 or are these reserved for serial
only? Below is a 'sh ver' with the available memory.
