cef is enabled globally. However if you are in the Int. mode and type "Ip cef" it will enable it globally also so either way...

If you want to enable CAR say on 2600 series router you have to enable cef.
Should it be enable on the interface or globally. As per cisco it is on the
interface
but yesterday I was going through a book and it says globally. Could any one
give me the correct answer ?
