was surpirsed

when i did redistribute rip into ospf
and
when i did redistribute isis into ospf

connected routes (on which rip and isis was functioning) never gets
announced to ospf/eigrp. need to do a redistribute static..

this doesnt end there, you need a route map to choose the interface/networks
to redistribute.

also, when rip announces its route outside. its wise to use a distribute
list and drop all the routes that it shouldnt own but owns because of
classful nature.

did you experience the same. but was referring to jeoff & solie..these info
seem to be missing..what do you think is right,am i doing a mistake.
