It depends on the protocols and what you are trying to do :) - but in
general if it's a simple setup you can usually get by with metrics. In more
complicated scenarios you will have to filter using things such as
distribute lists, route maps and so forth. As for the tag parameter it's
more for your information than for routing decisions. It allows you to
assign a tag to routes that you redistribute from one protocol to another.
That then gives you an idea when you are looking at routing tables where the
routes came from.

1)What is the best way to avoid redistribution loops if we are

at two points in the network.
