RE: Voice Vlan

Hi Larry,
I'm working with a configuration of IP phones connected to a CAT 4004, that
is connected to a 3660.
What do I have to do with the switch to get it working. Right now the IP
phones DHCP request does not make it to the router. Do you have any examples
with CatOS ( I have seen examples with 3550).
Thank you,
/lillemor

Portfast enables the layer 2 port to go into forwarding
instantly...these are edge ports..
you have to remember that on IOS switches, trunking 10/100
ports means carrying both
vlans of data, just like assigning the ports in a cat 6500
to the aux port...it is still an edge port
that links to a pc or phone..so in my config all the ports
on the switch are trunks and edge or access
ports.
