Hi Steve,
"retransmit interval" is amount of TIME that must elapse before a
successive retransmission of the SAME LSP and ONLY when the LSP's are
dropped.
"retransmit-throttle-interval" is the maximum RATE in terms of
packets/second.
This command is typically NOT needed, which leaves it to the "isis
lsp-interval" command to set the RATE of LSPs being sent out the serial
interface.
If anyone has a simpler explanation, your comments are appreciated.
Elmer

Can anyone explain the difference between these two isis interface
commands?
isis retransmit-interval - retransmit of the same LSP in seconds ?
and
isis retransmit-throttle-interval - retransmit LSPs in milliseconds ?
Thanks in advance
Steve
