The keepalive timer is configurable in local, remote, prom-peer as well as
peer-on-demand dlsw commands. For DLSW over DDR implementations, keepalive
of 0 is set in the local peer statement.

Dunno. Good question

I time "timeout" refers to the TCP activity of the DLSW peer to peer link.
In other words all activity netbios, SNA, would be covered.

In contrast to the timeoute command, the "inactivity timer" (under dlsw
remote-peer) observes the activity of dlsw circuits between dynamic peers.
If circuits have been totally absent across the peer connection for the
configured amount of time, the connection is torn down.
Border peers use a completely different timer, the "circuit-inactivity
timer" (also under dlsw remote-peer). This timer observes whether there has
been activity across an individual circuit. If there has been no activity
for the configured time, that specific circuit gets torn down.
