Passive-interface on a RIP router only prevents the sending of updates,
but the router will still install routes learned via the passive
interface. Is this correct?
If so, how would one block RIP updates from a specific interface? Are
distribute-lists and interface ACLs both valid / common / only ways of
doing this?
