Shahid,

It might be a glitch or just a bug - but when you
reloaded the routers you were NOT able to ping, so it
goes back to it's default condition. Which is correct.

The virtual-link will ALWAYS remain UP even though
authetication is mis-configured. I do not know why
this is, Cisco probably has a legit reason.

What IOS versions have you tested this with?
