Don't you need the string in your dialer map?

Subject: ISDN dialer map

Hi,

I config ISDN between r5 and r6, my config on r6 is:

interface BRI0
 ip address 192.158.254.14 255.255.255.252
 encapsulation ppp
dialer map ip 192.158.254.13 name r5
 dialer-group 1
 isdn switch-type basic-ni
 isdn spid1 40822222221 4082222222
 isdn spid2 40822222222 4082222222

on r5:

interface BRI0
 ip address 192.158.254.13 255.255.255.252
 encapsulation ppp
dialer map ip 192.158.254.14 name r6 broadcast
4082222222
 dialer-group 1
 isdn switch-type basic-ni
 isdn spid1 40811111111 4081111111
 isdn spid2 40811111112 4081111111

ping is not successful when I ping r6 from r5.

If I change "dialer map" command on r6 to

dialer map ip 192.158.254.13 name r5 (broadcast)
,ping is successful.

What's the problem?

Thanks for help.

Best Wishes,
Peng Zheng
