Oops, I missed that. Maybe that's why I keep failing my lab attempts.
Note to self, read the question. :)
If you turn off ip routing, there's default gateway and default network
commands, but I don't think they make null routes.
No idea.

Micheal,
How about "Without using Routing protocol"?
I think the best solution here is using policy-routing with the command
set default interface in your route-map.
Thanks,

Sure, turn off auto-summary in eigrp, it will create null routes at the
classful boundaries.

Ok, imagine if I asked you to make a null route without using a routing
protocol or static route, regardless if it makes sense, could you find a
solution?

Hi,
maybe they mean to do a default route .. but what is the sense of this
lab to do (also a default route to null makes not a lot of sense?)?
maybe they say null and mean like "ip route 0.0.0.0 .0.0.0.0" ?
bye,
joerg

Betreff: Null route without being null?
Hi people
Can you tell me if it is possible to make a null0 route without using
the "IP
ROUTE X X NULL0" COMMAND. I do not want to know what protocols can
generate
this but how to generate it without using a protocol.
If I was doing a lab where I am not allowed to use routing protocols and
not
allowed to use static routes, how do I generate a null0 route?
Thanks in advance.
