 I have some questions about your situation:

When you are say you are running from a loopback, do you mean you have
configured "ip unnumbered" on the multilink virtual interface?

Are you saying that you are successfully bundling 8 T1 serial interfaces
even though you know the limit is supposed to be 6 ? If possible, can you
show us a link to a document that specifies the 6 T1 limitation ?

Are you saying that although bundling 8 T1's does work, you are getting
packet drops?

If that is the problem, could you show us the results from "show ip ppp
multilink" on your router?
