Your solution will definitely work, but I have to configure the R3.
I found some similar scenarios from Routopia and Hellocomputer workbook.
Actually, the R3 doesn't exist.

The questions are :

Scenario 1 - make default route Injected by R1 is more preferable than R2 .
        Suggested solution - ip ospf cost on R1
Scenario 2 - make R1 is a perferable path for Multicast traffic.
        Suggested solution 1 - ip ospf cost on R1
        Suggested solution 2 - change to lower admin distance for the route
to destination . (doesn't make any sense)

I guess I have to configure either R1 or R2, right ?
Is there anything I can do on these 2 routers
