It basically means that CAT OS is dead as far as the CCIE lab goes! You
would be well advised to study the command reference and configuration guide
for Catalyst 3550 12.1, as per the link below. The Enhanced Image gives you
the layer 3 capabilities, which does make it somewhat like the 6500 "Native
IOS."
