Having completed most of the e-scenarios and all of the 3.0 stuff, I would
say that it depends on where you feel you are at technically and how many
routers you have access to. The e-scenarios give you a very structured
protocol specific approach. They are very good at getting you proficient 1
protocol at a time and they cover just about everything. They all use the
same IP address scheme which allows you to rip through them at a pretty good
pace. Very worthwhile.They generally require a switch (preferably a 3550), a
router acting as a Frame Switch and 6 routers. I am certain you will learn
quite a bit from these scenarios no matter how proficient you are.

The 3.0 workbook contains a mix of protocol specific labs and "kitchen-sink"
type scenarios. The workbook requires at least 8 routers,a Frame Switch and
Cat.

Both products require ISDN,ATM and Voice capabilities but you can skip those
technologies and rent rack time for them.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

Would appreciate a brief comparison between the e-scenarios & the workbook

3.0 .

Let me know which of the above is a good buy...
