This actually confuses me more, but I wanted to pass along info.
I finally just tried to call Melody and Shanon. Shanon's voicemail stated
the following:
"You've reached the voicemailbox for Shanon Fair. This is Friday December
6th. Due to recent storms, the RTP campus lost power from the utility
company. There is backup power in some buildings, but not in the Lake
Building where the CCIE exam takes place. Please email sfair@cisco.com or
call and leave your name and number and I'll return your email or call
later in the afternoon."
I called twice to get the main points from her voicemail message, but this
is not verbatim.
If it's closed until further notice, and this message is still what she
has recorded, it implies to me that they are still closed. Do folks
scheduled for Tuesday go anyway and hope? Or other days this week for
that matter.
Melody's vm was a generic message, nothing related to the storm or the
lab.
I have no idea what I'll do at this point. My flight departs in 18 hours.
