We are using a different connector, not DB9. It is DB25 connector. The
same connector
works with 7500 & 7200 series routers.

On the ls100, I use a standard cisco console adaptor with a standard
male to male adaptor. What is the adaptor configuration you are using?

As subject:

Recently picked up a LS100 with OC3 and T3 ATM mods. The unit boots fine
and
displays to terminal across standard Cisco cable with cisco DB9
connectors
(male on LS100, female on PC). However, when I press any key nothing
happens.
I've tried both console ports on the LS100.

The terminal settings are 9600 8N1 and I've tried flow control on/off,
hardware none etc.. all to no avail. This kid of makes me think its
either:
- Wrong cable?? missing say a transmit?
- Faulty unit?

Any thoughts

Gareth
