If you want to run etherchannel you should remove all the ISL or dot1q stuff
from the server ports on the switch. Unless you have Vlan aware NIC cards
you don't need any of that and they would not be trunk ports.
Just configure etherchannel on the switch then team the nics and plugging
them in. I do not know how intel nics team, but if it is like the compaq
NICS there will be a Nic card team driver that gets installed and allows the
etherchannel option..
