RE: DLSW ICANREACH/ICANTREACH in a pure Ethernet Environment

Jack,

The router R2 will know that 4000.4000.4000 is reachable via R4 so if it
needs to communicate to the host with MAC address 4000.4000.4000 it will
send an explorer to R4 for comm. to host
via R4.
The benefit of having mac-exclusive on R4 is that R2 will send explorers
only for 4000.4000.4000 to R4 and not any other explorers for other MAC
addresses to R4

So really the question should say

Config R4 to peer to R2. Ensure that R2 never sends explorers other
than (instead of for) 4000.4000.4000 which is the only resource available
through R4"

If someone doesn't agree please let me know why as I want to sure my
understanding is correct

Thks,
Yasser
