RE: RIP Auto-summary

So what is the "show ip rip database" command showing me? Again, just to
clarify, the summary route is only showing up in the RIP database and not in
the route table. So maybe the "no auto-summary" command doesn't remove the
summary routes from the RIP database, it just doesn't post them in the route
table.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks,

Joe Martin

I thought RIP doesn't keep its own database. All it uses to store its routes
the routing table itself.
