Hi,
I have seen a few posts on this list a few days back that you cannot filter
incoming routes using "neighbor route-map" where the match is on IP
address....
Its also mentioned in the CCO that this is indeed the case...
But I tried this filtering in the lab and it seems to work without any
problems.....
I used this..........
neighbor XXXX route-map XXXX
route-map XXXX deny 10
match IP address 1
route-map XXXX permit 20
It is becase of IOS version behaviour? I have a 12.1.5T12 on 3600.....
Can I do this on the final lab? Would the proctor take kindly to this...?
Another option is using neighbor XXXX distribute-list 1....Hope this does
not have such restrictions......
I am talking of cases where I cannot use prefix lists like filtering
even/odd routes.....
Regards,
Vijay.
