Subject: Slightly off topic: Rules and design guidelines for
implementing T1 at customer premise.

Hello all,

I am trying to find some definitive information concerning T1 demarcs, T1
extenders
and cable type, length for the span between the demarc and the CPE.

What questions specifically are:

What is the maximum length that cable can be run from the demarc with and
without signal regeneration?
What options and products are available for copper repeaters/amplifiers?
What
is the max distance with this option?
What options and products are available for fiber conversion/extention of
same?

What are the best practices and rules of thumb?

Any direct information or URLs to definitive resources is apprecited.. :-)

Thanks and regards,

Curtis
