Hi Group,

I created a etherchannel between a 3500xl and a 3550.
The following error appear in the 3500xl switch.

3d00h: %RTD-1-ADDR_FLAP: FastEthernet0/9 relearning 9 addrs per min
cat3500#
3d00h: %RTD-1-ADDR_FLAP: FastEthernet0/9 relearning 9 addrs per min
cat3500#
3d00h: %RTD-1-ADDR_FLAP: FastEthernet0/9 relearning 9 addrs per min

What is the error about?

The related config of the two switches:

3500XL

interface FastEthernet0/9
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
!
interface FastEthernet0/10
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk

3550

interface Port-channel1
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
no ip address

interface FastEthernet0/9
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
no ip address
channel-group 1 mode on
!
interface FastEthernet0/10
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport mode trunk
no ip address
channel-group 1 mode on

Thank you very much.

Jeff
