QoS parameter value

Hi all,

I am confused how to determine the parameter value.
E.g.
1. custom queueing, the byte-count value when the question
ask you reserve bandwidth by percentage.
2. CAR, the burst size value
etc...

Would someone can give me some CCO URLs/formula to tell me
how to determine the value?
