Jennifer,

I would agree with Steve here.
Martin Shortland and Kinetic have a good reputation, they ahve trained lots of people from BT for example.
In fact I know of a few people who went on Bootcamps from other companies in the UK,
who ended up going to him.
When looking around, you will find a few "well known" training companies who run a bootcamp.
I would not choose any of them.
Reason - they are only run once in a while and they suffer from not getting any feedback from their students, which means that key content is not covered. They also haven't spent the time preparing their content properly. Usuually a case of a few slides pulled from official Cisco training courses! As an example, the company I used gave no preparation on ATM, CAT 3900,IRB, NLSP etc (not even mentioned). We only covered the basics on EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, NAT and a few other things!!
When I did the bootcamp, I only got a "feel" for what the CCIE lab would be like, I was no way prepared.

I don't know at what level in your preparation you are up to. But if you need advise on the type of qualifying questions to ask when choosing a company, please email off-line and I will try to help you.
I would say that the quality of CCIE Bootcamp courses is much better in the US than the UK.

Thanks
Andy

Jennifer,

Check out Kinetic Education ran by Martin Shortland, No adverts or web site
etc etc, but widley regarded as the best in the UK, Martin trains a hell of
a lot of Cisco guys amongst other high profile users.

I have his details if you would like them.

Thanks

Steve

Hi

Does anyone know of a respectable bootcamp for the lab. I live in the UK and
all the obvious choices are in the US. Any advice would be great.
Another thing, what do you think is better, 1 or 2 weeks ?
