Charles,
If you are using a ds3 card the config is as follows
int s0/0
framing c-bit
or
int s0/0
framing m13
If you are using HSSI interface you need to configure on the CSU.
Available BW for a full DS3 channelized(45MB) is 44210, 40MG - 41052 etc
see the sample below( show controller output). It also varies on the device
you use. You may want to read the guide for the specific vendor.
---------
Framing is c-bit, Clock Source is Internal
Bandwidth limit is 41052, DSU mode 0, Cable length is 400
Data in current interval (686 seconds elapsed):
0 Line Code Violations, 0 P-bit Coding Violation
0 C-bit Coding Violation
0 P-bit Err Secs, 0 P-bit Sev Err Secs
0 Sev Err Framing Secs, 0 Unavailable Secs
0 Line Errored Secs, 0 C-bit Errored Secs, 0 C-bit Sev Err Secs
Total Data (last 21 15 minute intervals):
0 Line Code Violations, 0 P-bit Coding Violation,
0 C-bit Coding Violation,
0 P-bit Err Secs, 0 P-bit Sev Err Secs,
0 Sev Err Framing Secs, 0 Unavailable Secs,
0 Line Errored Secs, 0 C-bit Errored Secs, 0 C-bit Sev Err Secs
No alarms detected.
Hope this helps.
