You should try to assign the ports to the correct vlans first...then
enable port security

Subject: 3550 port security problem

Hi all,

I have a problem regarding 3550 port security.
When I enable it, it is fine with configuration and test it
is ok; but once I change the default VLAN 1 to 2 or others
on the port, it is psecure-violation. And I find in the
debug log, it is psecure-violation and vlanid=2 etc.

I would like to know can I assign the port in different
vlan when port security is enabled? If so, how can I do it? Thanks a
lot.

Raymond
