You have to have the correct cable attached and then ensure that the
jumper is set correctly. Also only certain physical serial interface
types on the AGS+ routers support DTE.

Subject: Setting clock rate for DTE's is not allowed

When I set up the clock rate for AGS router ( I want
it to be a frame-relay switch), after I set up:

 no ip address
 encapsulation frame-relay
 frame-relay lmi-type ansi
 frame-relay intf-type dce

I type :
clock rate 64000, then I got:
Setting clock rate for DTE's is not allowed

Does anyone know what't the problem?

Thank you for help.

Best Wishes,
Peng Zheng
