They're N+1, the third Power supply doesn't add to the aggregate unless the
switch is pulling too much power. Enter sh environment to see how the power
supplies have been apportioned by the switch.

Subject: 4006 power supplies
Hello gang,
does anybody know how many Watts an Inline Power Module for the 4006
actually uses ? I need two Auxiliary Power Supply Units at a minimum, which
means 2 x 1050W. But what if I put a third unit in there ? Does that use an
additional 1050W, or is it in standby mode, meaning that the total will
never be more than 2100W ?
I have the same questions with regard to the regular power supply units for
the 4006 chassis. They use 400W each, so two use 800W, but what if I put a
third one in there ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards,
Georg Pauwen
