The best time to switch labs seems to be early in the morning or late at
night when there's not much activity. When I switched, both of us were
in voice contact on the phone while the switch took place so we were
able to do the switch in a few seconds. Hope this helps.

I think basically two people have to arrange a time and day when they
will
both drop their lab dates and try to quickly reschedule using the other
person's date.
