ISDN dialer-group

Hi all,

Just a question about ISDN.

R1-------(ISDN)--------R5

Both routers are configured with :

int bri0
  ip address 10.0.0.X 255.255.255.252
  encapsulation ppp
dialer map ip 10.0.0.Y name RY broadcast 600Y
  dialer-group 1
!
!
dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit.

It's working well. Now, if I want to restrict R5 from initiate a call, I
remove dialer-group statement on R5.
My problem is : the link goes up, initiated by R1, ok, but I can't ping any
/32 addresses.

Is it normal ?

Now, if I re-put dialer-group & remove dialer-map statement on R5,
everything is working perfect.
Is dialer-group is mandatory in any isdn config ???

Thanks for your light,
Antoine
